COUNSELING FOR MENTAL + EMOTIONAL WELLNESS

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY

Individual therapy offers a safe space dedicated specifically to you. Slow down. Make sense of your life and start understanding yourself more deeply.
My Approach
I practice with a warm, empathic, and eclectic approach that adapts to what best suits each individual client. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all method, I draw from multiple therapeutic frameworks to meet you where you are. Being an integrative practitioner allows me to be both emotionally attuned and present to clients wanting process-oriented therapy and active in skill development and problem-solving for clients interested in a more solution-focused approach.

At the heart of my work is the belief that the relationship between therapist and client is not just a vehicle for change, it is the change. When you feel truly heard, understood, and not judged, something shifts. That is where growth begins.

I am particularly experienced working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, and unexpected life transitions. I have a deep commitment to culturally competent care and bring particular sensitivity to the experiences of Asian Americans, children of immigrants, and professionals in STEM and academic fields.

What to Expect
Individual therapy with me typically follows a weekly format, especially at the start. Consistency helps builds the trust and momentum that make the work meaningful. As we get to know each other and as your goals evolve, we can discuss adjusting the frequency and focus of our sessions over time.
Sessions are 50 minutes and held in person at my office in Harvard Square, Cambridge, MA. Telehealth sessions are also available for individuals located anywhere in Massachusetts.

Is Individual Therapy Right for You?
You might be a good fit for individual therapy with me if you identify as one of the following:
-high-achieving professional, academic, or graduate student who is excelling outwardly but struggling privately.
-Someone navigating a significant life transition such as a health diagnosis, career setback, loss, divorce, or identity shift.
-An Asian American or child of immigrants working through cultural identity, family expectations, or relationship dynamics.
-Someone who has tried to push through on your own and is ready for something different.

My ideal client is curious, self-aware, and genuinely ready to engage. You don't need to have it all figured out before you reach out — that's what we do together. Let's get started!
