My approach to couples therapy allows partners a space to practice communicating about important issues while receiving directive feedback to elicit healthy communication. I prioritize listening and learning about the couple both as individuals and as a unit. Providing tools to help couples improve communication can potentially resolve conflict, increase trust in one another, and build their connection.
